WitchDoctor910: Day 8 (Bob the Builder)

3rd Builder

The best thing happens on Day 8. I got my 3rd Builder. I am not sure whether this is fast, normal or slow. For I am certain that having 3rd Builder will increase my village progress significantly. Well, in theory by 50%. I cleared all obstacles and get few Gems from achievement which single player mission (the goblin dungeon). It could be nice if Supercell make 1 new Goblin based faction because Goblin is awesome race. They are fast, cunning and materialistic; this is one of the true values of human beings. Like at TH5, we are allowed to choose 2 faction; Normal or Goblin. Then on TH9, Normal can choose between Light Force or Dark Force. This will be cool right.

How to get Gems thus the Builder

Anyhow, I going to talk about Builder. Builder is the most beneficial item you can have in this game. You can only have additional Builder by using the most expensive and rare resource; the Gems. This show how important Builder is. Builder is so important that every player should working hard to get it. There is no simple and easy way. You can have Gems by only 3 ways; achievement, clearing obstacles and Gems Box and using real money. Achievement requires you to work hard because only tough achievements give you more Gems. Tougher Achievement only can be done by having better village defenses and good troops. However before TH11 Updates, you can TH snipe (destroy TH near to village border) and enable you to reach Crystal, Master or Champions league faster without much efforts. This will give 250, 1000, and 2000 Gems respectively.  When you reach Master league, you probably can get your 5th and last Builder. So, TH2 can have 5 Builders during this era.

Although TH snipe becoming difficult, you still can do it and get trophies to climb league. The chance of accomplishing achievement is still there. At the end, you can get enough Gems to have more Builders. This also means trophies pushing is wise path at early game although it prove to be so much difficult with low level troops.

Mathematically

Mathematically, having 3rd Builder increase village progress by 50% while having 4th Builder increase it by 33%. Having 5th Builder increase progress by 25%. In general, the progress level of player with 5 Builders is 150% to compare with someone with 2 Builders. This is a lot. Imagine this, if you playing for 10 month with 2 Builders, you can cut short to 5 month with the 3rd Builder. Of course this should never happen practically. Point here to show how much additional Builder benefits you. In my experience, having the 4th Builder is the most rewarding as I can progress my TH8 or above faster. We spend less time at TH7 and below, so Builder is not that significant compare to TH8 and above. TH8 and above have so many buildings to upgrade, so having 4th Builders can boost progress a lot.

5th Builder

Why 5th is not rewarding as much as 4th? This is because most people will have 5th Builder at later stage of his COC, probably around late TH9. The next step to upgrade is TH10 itself. This is killing part as every building take so much time and requires so much resource. Most of the time, you can’t catch up and enable to get enough resource. At the end, your will not utilize all your Builders. As you becoming better at TH10, then you starting to utilize all of your Builders. As the golden age for most players is during TH8 and TH9, that’s why 4th Builder is more memorable than 5th.

In Summary

To cut it short, get your additional Builder as soon as possible. Save Gems only for Builder. You can use Gems to boost only during promotion period (1 Gem to boost). As far I know, Builder is the most difficult to get and the most rewarding “people or building” you can ever have in the entire game.
